Welcome to our world of clay, throwing, glazing and firing; of pottery, stoneware and porcelain; of rest and relaxation; of sunbathing by the pool and good food.
At our ceramic courses, our aim is to maximize your learning experience. It’s not about the quantity of ceramics you take home, but about the quality of knowledge you gain. We ensure that everyone leaves with a few beautifully crafted pieces to cherish.
At our place you work in small groups and in a relaxed manner. The program is adapted to you in terms of content, intensity and language. You can learn the basics of pottery with us or perfect your ceramic skills. For the courses with guest teachers, often some previous knowledge is required.
You will find La Céramique in the southern French hills of the Tarn, just outside the historic fortified town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. Experience it yourself: ceramics and art de vivre go hand in hand here!
You're not just with us to work of course. You can sit and enjoy the view in many places on our property. We have three different places to eat: inside, outside under the trees or outside on the terrace. How about a refreshing dip in the pool? Oh, and of course we have free wifi. You stay the night at La Céramique in your own tent or caravan or - at an extra charge - in a basic room. We have single, double and triple rooms. The sanitary facilities consist of toilets and showers for common use. Pets can be brought after consultation.
We eat the French way: a simple breakfast, a two-course hot lunch and a three-course dinner. We take special dietary requirements into account as much as possible. A vegetarian meal is no problem at all. Lactose- and gluten-free diets are usually feasible, but not always. Therefore, please contact us before registering if you follow a diet.
