FAQ

General questions

What is included in the price?

The lessons, the clay, the use of the wheel and the tools as well as the firing. Plus breakfast, (two courses) lunch, aperitif, (three course) dinner, coffee, tea and wine.

The courses are for both. You can learn the basics of pottery or perfectionize your ceramic skills. The classes with guest lecturers however often require some prior knowledge.

The remaining amount can be transferred 6 weeks before the start of the course. You can also pay in cash on arrival.

In general, fourteen. It depends a bit on the course.

No, our courses are reserved for adults. However, if you are on holiday with your partner and children, there is a nice campsite nearby.

We are always open to suggestions.

Nice! Feel free to contact us.

It certainly is. Feel free to contact us.

Yes, that is possible. You then pay a supplement of €70 a day for the stay (use of common facilities, food and drinks).

In the workshop

Is the clay included in the price?

For most courses, all clay is included. An exception is made for porcelain, of which a limited amount is included in the price.

Please see below.

We reuse a lot of clay, so you can experiment as much as you like. The pieces that you really find worthwhile will be fired in the wood kiln.

Please note that you share the space in the kiln with all the other participants.

There are. Please bring your own apron and/or old clothes.

Are plenty available. But you may also bring your own.

Not as much as we would like. Unfortunately we are weather dependent these days.

The Residence

Do you have a swimming pool?

Yes, we do!

Yes, you can camp on our property free of charge.

We are happy to pick you up from the station Cordes-Vindrac.  Just let us know which train you will be taking.

Toulouse-Blagnac. From there a shuttle service can bring you to the train station Toulouse-Matabiau. It is then one hour from Toulouse-Matabiau to Cordes-Vindrac.

We take special dietary requirements into account as much as possible. A vegetarian meal is no problem at all.

Lactose or gluten-free diets are usually taken into account, but not always. Therefore, please contact us if you have a special diet before enrolling a course.

Yes, it is.

Definitely.

This is usually possible but please check beforehand. In any case: no pets in the rooms or at the table during the meals.

Of course. But not in the studio, the rooms, the toilets, the showers or at the table.

Bed linen is included in the price of the room. However, you have to bring your own towel.

Please bring your own towel for the shower and the pool. In the studio we have towels for your clay hands.

No, you do not. But we do ask for your help in setting and clearing the table. We have a dishwasher for washing the dishes.

Yes, we ask you to clean your wheel and the equipment you used. Then you clean the workshop together with the others.

Of course, you can. You can go your own way. In consultation with the other participants, we sometimes organise excursions to other potters, to the vineyard or to a nice market for example. Do you have an idea of your own? Do not hesitate to let us know during that week.
